Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy, we're here to help β no fuss, no hassle.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it
- In the original packaging with all tags and labels attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be credited to your original payment method within 5β10 business days.
There are no restocking fees for standard returns within the 30-day window.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, please follow these steps:
Exchanges
We replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, email us at support@thedesibazaar.com with clear photos of the damage and your order number.
Exchanges are processed within 3β5 business days of receiving your returned item.
How to Initiate a Return
Return Shipping & Fees
Customer-initiated returns: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt without tracking.
Our error (wrong or defective item): We will cover the full cost of return shipping and provide a prepaid label.
Restocking fees: None. We do not charge restocking fees on any standard returns.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Perishable goods (food, spices, consumables)
- Customized or personalized items made to order
- Downloadable digital products once accessed
- Items marked as Final Sale at time of purchase
- Items returned after the 30-day window without prior authorisation
